From the beginning of the launch of the capacity certificate market (March 2020) until the end of April 2024, the total volume and the value of capacity certificate transactions in the energy exchange reached 2,336 megawatts and 63,114 billion Rials, respectively. Currently, the price of each kilowatt is 99 million Rials.

In 2023, 56 customers were introduced to the energy exchange to purchase capacity certificates, and during this period, the volume of 285 megawatts with a value of 21,980 billion rials was traded on the energy exchange.
