According to a report by the Over-the-Counter Transactions Office, in the year 1403, the total volume of green electricity traded on the Iran Energy Exchange amounted to 667 million kilowatt-hours, with a total value of 26.28 trillion Rials (approx. 2,628 billion Tomans), and an average price of 39,381 Rials per kilowatt-hour.
According to the Electricity Market Deputy, around 43 million kilowatt-hours of green energy were traded on the Green Board of the Energy Exchange for delivery in Esfand 1403 (February–March 2025). The average traded capacity for delivery during this month was 59,709 kilowatts per hour throughout the month. Out of this: 27,991 kilowatts were purchased by consumers under regional electricity companies, 4,634 kilowatts by consumers under electricity distribution companies, and the remaining 27,084 kilowatts were purchased by retail electricity companies.
It is worth noting that the value of green electricity transactions for Esfand 1403 delivery was recorded at approximately 1.49 trillion Rials (149 billion Tomans), with an average transaction price of 34,875 Rials per kilowatt-hour.
