10. Demand and Total Cost
Totally 305,692 GWh of electrical energy was traded in the spot market.
Figure 18 shows that EDCs had basically the greatest share in the total
payments which increased remarkably in summer to 164,187 Billion
Rials and then declined to 107,464 Billion Rials in spring.
11. Total Cost of Load Serving in Details
The cost of load serving entities includes four main terms: transmission
usage cost, ancillary services cost, capacity cost, and energy cost. Figure 19
illustrates the seasonal load serving costs in detail. According to the chart, in
each season, the energy cost had the highest share in the total load serving
cost. As expected, the total cost in summer is the highest one.
